University Centers of the San Miguel (UCSM) is hosting its 3rd annual fundraising event, “103: A Guided Wine tasting and Silent Auction” , TONIGHT at the Hotel Telluride from 6-9 pm. Thank you for supporting higher education in our community!
The Telluride Merchants Association, the Town of Telluride, and the Telluride Ski Company invite one and all to the First Annual Ski Tree Lighting Ceremony, Campfire, and Ski Burn, complete with a visit from Ullr, the Norse god of Winter, TONIGHT, from 6 to 8pm, at Elks Park. Free hot chocolate will be poured and DJ Soul Atomic will be spinnin’. Bundle up the family and be a part of this NEW Telluride holiday tradition! Please note: Do not bring your old skis to burn! Actual skis are not necessary. Ullr prefers a more natural approach this year.
The Ouray County Players is bringing back ‘A Christmas Carol’ to The Wright Opera House TONIGHT and TOMORROW. It’s the season of Angel Basket’s Food for Fines and Toys for Tickets! TODAY is your last day to pay your Wilkinson Public Library fines with non-perishable food items to benefit regional Food Banks. However, you can still pay your parking tickets at the Telluride Marshalls Office with a toy through December 21st!
The 2013 Telluride Holiday Arts Bazaar features a wide variety of high quality, handmade items from over 30 local artists and artisans. Buy local and handmade this holiday season and feel good about giving gifts that give back. The Bazaar opens TODAY from 5-8pm, then again tomorrow from 10am-7pm, and Sunday from 11am-3pm. It is held at the Telluride High School Cafeteria and there’s plenty of parking and loads of holiday cheer.
