  • Preschoolers-to-6th Graders are invited to parade down Colorado Ave. in Telluride’s Annual Halloween Parade! Participants will depart Telluride Elementary School at 1:30 pm this Wednesday, Oct. 31st.

  • We are still in need of volunteers for the KOTO Ski Swap, happening Nov.9th through the 12th.  Volunteering gets you access to all the sweet deals of the pre-swap sale! Sign up with a buddy! Head to for more information and available shifts.

  • Jumpin’ Jan Productions will host a Voter Registration Rally this Saturday, Nov. 3rd at the Moon at O’Bannon’s. 6pm. This event is free and open to all ages. Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Today, Tuesday, Oct. 30, join the Progressive Women’s Caucus of the San Juans for a forum on Ballot Measures. At Rebekah Hall, 6pm. The forum will also be broadcasted here on KOTO. Be sure to attend or tune in!

  • This Saturday, Nov. 3rd, at the Livery in Norwood, the Saturday Night at the Livery Lecture Series features Amy Irvine, author of "Desert Cabal: A New Season in the Wilderness," a nod to the 50th anniversary of Ed Abbey's "Desert Solitaire" and what it means in today's world. Also speaking will be Regina Lopez Whiteskunk of the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe as contributor to the “small but mighty rant”. Event starts at 6:30pm. Amy and Regina will also appear in Telluride on Wednesday, November 7th, at 6pm, at the Wilkinson Public Library, in conjunction with Between the Covers Bookstore.

  • Celebrate Halloween and support the Telluride Historical Museum, this Wednesday Oct. 31st. Trick-or-Treat down Fir St. beginning at 4:30 until 7pm, when the Haunted Hospital opens its doors.

  •  Today through Friday, Nov. 2nd, The Wilkinson Library will have a Dia de Los Muertos Altar. Bring photos of loved ones you’d like to remember. Located in the Library’s stair landing.

  • Rainbow, Rockies and Rascals Fall Fundraiser happens Friday November 9 at the Ah-Haa School for the Arts from 5:30-9:30. Come enjoy live music, delicious food, free champagne, a raffle and a live and silent auction.

  •  KOTO is raffling off a season's pass for the 2018-19 ski season. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the KOTO studios at 207 N. Pine Street or from your favorite deejay. Tickets will also be available at the ski swap on Saturday, November 10th.
