  • The KOTO board of directors will hold their next monthly meeting today, Tuesday November 13, at 5:15pm in the Telluride room of the Wilkinson library.  The public is always welcome to attend.

  • Tonight at the Telluride Arts HQ, Talking Gourds features Ellen Metrick of Norwood. Readings begin at 6pm. If you can’t make it tonight, Metrick will present at the Hollinbeck residence in Norwood tomorrow, 6pm. Contact Art at shroompa@gmail.com for directions. The theme for this month is vulnerability.

  • Meet at Esperanza's Thursday, November 15th 5:00-6:30 to practice Spanish with Jill and Gloria from the library and other Spanish speakers from the community. The library will provide the appetizers and the margaritas are on special.  All levels are welcome!

  • San Juan Weavers Guild hosts its 41st Annual Show & Sale on Saturday, November 17th, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Holiday Inn Express in Montrose. Exhibits, fiber-art demonstrations, and free hands-on learning opportunities will be offered.

  • Jon Martin, local Financial Advisor of Edward Jones Investments, will hold an informational seminar on financial planning for college. Today, November 13th at 5:30pm in the Telluride High School cafeteria.  Parents of children of any age will benefit from Mr. Martin’s advice.

  • A free legal clinic, for parties who have no attorney, will be held at the Wilkinson Public Library today, Wednesday November 14th, from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM. By computer link, volunteer attorneys will answer questions, help fill out forms, and explain the process and procedure for all areas of civil litigation, including family law, property law, probate law, collections, appeals, landlord-tenant law, small claims, veteran’s issues, and civil protection orders.  Please contact the Wilkinson Public Library at 728-4519 to schedule an appointment.   

  • Thursday, November 29th the Durango Wolf Symposium will take place at Fort Lewis College’s Student Life Gymnasium, in Durango CO. The largest group of wolf experts ever to gather in Southwest Colorado will present diverse perspectives on wolf behavior, wolf management and the possibility of restoration of wolves to Colorado.  The public is invited to attend 3 DIFFERENT SESSIONS. Thursday morning 8:30am - 12:00pm, Thursday afternoon 1:00pm - 4:30pm and an evening Q&A w/speakers panel 7:00pm - 9:00pm.

  • The Ah Haa is calling all creatives!  Do you have a collection of old works gathering dust in a corner in your home?
