  • The Gondola reopens today! Dial-a-ride services are now available through the winter season as well.

  • Work up your appetite Thanksgiving Day by participating in San Miguel County’s Annual Turkey Trot 5K-Run/Walk. Thursday, Nov. 22nd in Illium Valley. Race starts at the intersection of Sunshine Road and CR 63L (Ilium Rd.).  9:00am Registration/9:30 am Race Start. A holiday Tradition for the whole family, costumes are encouraged and dogs on a leash are welcome!

  • The Ah Haa is calling all creatives!  Do you have a collection of old works gathering dust in a corner in your home? Do you have a pile of art supplies that you haven’t touched in years? Sell them at the Ah Haa Art Yard Sale on Wednesday, December 5th, 10am-4pm.  Email or call 728-3886 if you’d like to participate!

  • Telluride HS Interact Club’s Annual Noel Night Peppermint Bark Sale takes place in front of Sunglass HQ from 4-9 pm on December 5th. All proceeds go towards financing their mission trip.

  • SMRHA is offering a homebuyer education class on Dec.10th & 11th from 5-9pm in the Conference room at the SMRHA/Shandoka Office at 820 Black Bear Rd. G-17. This will help locals prepare for purchase, including the lotteries for the Town deed restricted units being developed. To register, they can complete a flyer on the smrha

  • The Yule Nite Christmas Parade in Ouray takes place on Saturday, Dec.1st. Gather at the bottom of 8th Ave. at 5:45pm. Parade Starts at 6:00pm. Parade winners will be announced at the Elks Lodge at 6:30. Get your picture taken with Santa at the Elks Lodge after the Parade.

  • San Juan Weavers Guild hosts its 41st Annual Show & Sale on Saturday, November 17th, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Holiday Inn Express in Montrose. Exhibits, fiber-art demonstrations, and free hands-on learning opportunities will be offered.

  • CSU Extension Program invites you to their last fall Seed Saving Class. This Saturday, Nov. 17th at the Ridgeway Public Library, 10am-1pm. Bring seeds you have saved or seeds that you have extra of.  If you don’t have seeds to share, come anyway! 

  • There will be a parade today down Colorado Ave. @ 3:15 to celebrate the Boys High School soccer run to the state championship. Please come out and show your support!

  • Turkey Bingo is this weekend! Friday, November 16th - Turkey Bingo at the Telluride Elks Lodge for Elks and their guests, 6pm. Saturday Nov. 17th Kids Bingo is 3-5pm. Adult Bingo (21+) has two games 6:30 and 8pm. Doors will open at 6pm. On Sunday, Elks Lodge will be open to the public.  Enjoy brunch at 11:00 am and a final family friendly round of Bingo beginning at noon.
