  •  Work up your appetite Thanksgiving Day by participating in San Miguel County’s Annual Turkey Trot 5K-Run/Walk. Thursday, Nov. 22nd in Illium Valley. Race starts at the intersection of Sunshine Road and CR 63L (Ilium Rd.).  9:00am Registration/9:30 am Race Start. A holiday Tradition for the whole family, costumes are encouraged and dogs on a leash are welcome!

  • A 5-day wilderness first responder course will take place in Telluride Dec.7-9 and 15-16.  A Recert. Class is offered Dec. 7-9.  Go to for more info.

  • SMRHA is offering a homebuyer education class on Dec.10th & 11th from 5-9pm in the Conference room at the SMRHA/Shandoka Office at 820 Black Bear Rd. G-17. This will help locals prepare for purchase, including the lotteries for the Town deed restricted units being developed. To register, they can complete a flyer on the smrha

  • Donation Day is tomorrow, Nov. 21st. Tickets purchased on Donation Day go towards supporting the Telluride Ski and Snowboard Club. The official opening day of the resort is Thanksgiving, Nov. 22nd. Lifts start turning at 9am!

  • Come enjoy a FREE Thanksgiving Feast on Thanksgiving Day, November 22nd from 4pm-6pm at the Telluride HS cafeteria. If you'd like to be a part of preparing and serving the Thanksgiving meal on either Wednesday the 21st or Thursday the 22nd, please email;

  • Applications for the 2019 Colorado Master Gardener Course are being accepted.
