  • Yule Nite Christmas Parade in Ouray happens Dec.1st. Gather at the bottom of 8th Ave. at 5:45. Parade Starts at 6:00pm. Parade winners will be announced at the Elks Lodge at 6:30. Get your picture taken with Santa at the Elks Lodge after the Parade!

  • Telluride Adaptive Sports Program is looking for new volunteers Come to the info meeting at 5pm on Wed. Nov 28th at the Wilkinson Public Library to learn all about our training opportunities and exactly what it means to volunteer with TASP!   • Ballots for KOTO's Board election have been mailed out.  Please read about the candidates, vote,  and return your completed ballot by mail or in person (207 N. Pine St.) by 5pm on Saturday December 1.

  • Telluride Film Festival Presents “The Guilty.” Thursday, Nov. 29th –ONE show only- 6:15pm at the Nugget Theater. Nugget Passes are not accepted.

  • County Nursing is offering a Flu Shot Clinic today, Nov. 26th. and tomorrow Nov. 27th, 1:30-4 pm in the Miramonte Building, next to the Courthouse. All insurance cards accepted. If you do not have insurance, shots are offered at $25 for adults or sliding scale for children.

  • Cub Scout Pack 500/Boy Scout Troop 500 will meet Wednesday, November 28th, 3:30 p.m. at the Elks Lodge. Contact Janet Kask 708-1264 for more information.

  • San Juan Field School and Jagged Edge will host a Backcountry gear swap. At Jagged Edge, Sat. Dec. 8th 10am-5pm and Sunday, Dec 9th 10am-2pm. Drop off gear to sell on Friday, Dec. 7th, 10am-5pm. Pick up money or unsold items after the swap on Sunday, 2-5pm.

  • Learn more about living with dementia and what individuals experience when suffering from this illness. Colorado Care Center and Tri County Health Network are offering the Dementia Experience at the Telluride High School (in the Bridal Veil Conference Room,) on November 29th from 10:30 am until 2:30 pm.
