  • Come to a free exhibition, and talk about the Northern Arizona Volunteer Medical Corps doctors’ experiences among the people of Haiti at the Ah Haa School, tomorrow, Saturday, November 10th 5-7p.m. The exhibit, entitled “My Brothers Our Sisters,” will run through the end of November. 

  • San Juan Weavers Guild hosts its 41st Annual Show & Sale on Saturday, November 17th, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Holiday Inn Express, in Montrose. Exhibits, fiber-art demonstrations, and free hands-on learning opportunities will be offered.

  • Today, Friday, Nov. 9th, marks day one of the KOTO Ski Swap. Individual and Vendor drop-offs can be brought to the Wilkinson Library’s underground garage, 11:00am-5:30pm. You can buy tags at the library as well, starting at 11am. The Swap opens to the public Saturday, Nov. 10th, at 10am until 4pm. You can catch the 5th Annual Freestyle FREE-ride at the base of Chair 8 on Saturday as well, 10am-3pm. Head to koto.org for a complete schedule for the weekend.

  • Don’t miss the After-Bingo Party at The Moon @ O’Bannons. Telluride’s own HO FUN DELUXE presents a Punk Rock Thanksgiving Show featuring Spintress Extraordinaire, Beatrixx Kiddo. Nov. 17th, Doors at 9. The Band goes on at 11pm.

  • The Telluride Institute’s Talking Gourds Poetry Club is proud to host Wrights Mesa poet Ellen Metrick on Tuesday night, Nov. 13th, starting at 6 p.m. at the Telluride Arts HQ gallery across from the Wilkinson Public Library. Metrick will also perform Wednesday, Nov. 14th, starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Hollinbeck residence (3100 County Road 43 ZS), in Norwood.

  • Jon Martin, local Financial Advisor of Edward Jones Investments, will hold an informational seminar on financial planning for college. November 13th at 5:30pm in the Telluride High School cafeteria.  Parents of children of any age will benefit from Mr. Martin’s advice.
