  • The KOTO Ski Swap happens today, Nov. 10th, 10am-4pm, in the Wilkinson Library’s underground garage. This is KOTO’s largest fundraising event of the year. Support your local radio station and get the gear you need for winter. Head to koto.org for a complete schedule for the weekend.

  • Tonight, come to a free exhibition and talk about the Northern Arizona Volunteer Medical Corps doctors’ experiences among the people of Haiti at the Ah Haa School, 5-7p.m. The exhibit, entitled “My Brothers Our Sisters,” will run through the end of November. 

  • Jon Martin, local Financial Advisor of Edward Jones Investments, will hold an informational seminar on financial planning for college. Tuesday, November 13th at 5:30pm in the Telluride High School cafeteria.  Parents of children of any age will benefit from Mr. Martin’s advice.

  • San Juan Weavers Guild hosts its 41st Annual Show & Sale on Saturday, November 17th, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Holiday Inn Express, in Montrose. Exhibits, fiber-art demonstrations, and free hands-on learning opportunities are offered.

  • Telluride MSHS Performing Arts Department Presents The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Catch tonight’s performance at 7PM and on Sunday the 11th, a matinee at 2PM. Buy your tickets at the door at the Michael D. Palm Theater.

  • There will be a Celebration of Life for Jak Adam. At the Moon at O’Bannon’s this Sunday, Nov. 11th at 5pm.

  • The KOTO board of directors will hold their next monthly meeting Tuesday November 13 at 5:15pm in the Telluride room of the Wilkinson library.  The public is always welcome to attend.

  • Work up your appetite Thanksgiving Day by participating in San Miguel County’s Annual Turkey Trot 5K-Run/Walk. Thursday, Nov. 22nd in Illium Valley. Race starts at the intersection of Sunshine Road and CR 63L (Ilium Rd.).  9:00am Registration/9:30 am Race Start. A holiday Tradition for the whole family, costumes are encouraged and dogs on a leash are welcome!

  • Veteran’s Day is tomorrow, Sunday Nov. 11th. The Telluride Elks Lodge will host a free dinner for veterans and active duty military at 6pm.

  • Author Amy Irvine will discuss her novel, “Desert Cabal” at the Sherbino Theater’s “Sherb Talk.” Tomorrow, Sunday Nov. 11th at 7pm.

  • The Wilkinson Public Library presents Telluride Film Festival’s Cinematheque winter series “A Director Retrospective- The Great Hal Ashby,”(  HAROLD AND MAUDE, COMING HOME and BEING THERE) The first documentary, HAL, (2018 90 minutes), plays November 12th, 6-8 pm.
