  • The Wilkinson Library invites kids to come by after school for food, games, and crafts at their Holiday Party. Thursday, Dec. 20th, 3:45-5pm.

  • The Mountain Village HOLIDAY PRELUDE concludes today.  Festive activities for the whole family will be offered throughout Mountain Village. Head to their website, townofmountainvillage.com for a complete schedule of events.

  • Talking Gourds Poetry will host poet duo Ruth Duffy and Mike Olschewsky, of Nucla, at Telluride Arts HQ, Tuesday Dec. 18th @ 6pm. They will perform in Norwood at the Meadowlark House (72 Greager Lane), tomorrow at 6:30pm. This month’s theme is teachers.

  • Palm Arts Dance Presents: The Nutcracker. December 22nd  at 6pm and again on the 23rd, at 3pm.

  • Telluride Film Festival presents one showing of the film, MID 90s. Thursday, Dec.20 at 6:15pm.  Nugget passes not accepted.

  • The Telluride Nordic Center will offer clinics on Classic Skiing, every Monday, and Skate Skiing, every Tuesday, throughout January. First clinics are January 7th and 8th, 12-1pm at the Nordic Center in Town Park. Call 728-1144 to register.

  • The 5th annual Telluride Holiday Pop-Up Market will be at the Sheridan Opera House Show Bar today and tomorrow, 11am-7pm both days.

  • Wilkinson Library and Between the Covers present Authors Uncovered ft. Marla Meredith and “High Altitude Cuisine.” At the library, Dec. 18th @ 6pm.

  • The Ah Haa School’s Regional Exhibition challenges artists to think outside the box by working within one. 12x12. For more information go to ahha.org or call 970.728.3886. Submissions due by 5pm on January 14th.

  • The Telluride Elks Lodge will host a free spaghetti dinner tomorrow night at 6pm. The public is invited to learn more about what the Elks and the American Legion provide for our community! For more information contact Mark at 728-6362.

  •  Bring your own ukulele and jam out to all of your favorite holiday music with other ukulele players at the Wilkinson Library. Family Holiday Uke Jam is Wednesday, Dec. 19th at 5:30pm. All ages and skill levels are welcome!

  • Telluride's favorite Peter Pans are back with DUDE AND BRO GET REAL. An original comedy with music by Telluride Theatre. Dec 18-21 at the Sheridan Opera House, 8pm nightly. Telluride Theater will bring the performance to the Sherbino Theater in Ridgeway on Dec. 22 & 23 @ 8pm.
