  • Ski into History with the Telluride Historical Museum, Wednesday Jan. 16th at 10 a.m. Space is limited for this event, so sign up early! To register, email Theresa@telluridemusum.org or call the Museum at 970-728-3344.

  • Telluride TV and the Wilkinson Public Library present a 3-part "Mental Health with Dr. Paul" series featuring internationally renowned clinical and consulting psychotherapist Dr. Paul L. Hokemeyer. Next in the series is “When A Bluebird Day Isn't:  Suicide in Our Mountaintown.” TODAY, 6-8pm.

  • Montrose will have it first Women’s March, January 19th. Meet at Demoret Park, 246 E. Main Street. The March will take place 10-11am, participants are encouraged to show up at 9:30am.

  • Poetica writers will be featured this month as part of the Talking Gourds poetry series. Local poets will perform at the Telluride Arts headquarters Jan. 22nd,  starting at 6 p.m. Theme for this month is Ars Poetica – the name of a poem by the Roman poet Horace and which has come to mean poets writing about the art of poetry.

  • Take part in the Telluride High School Interact Club Blood Drive. The Blood mobile will be in the Telluride High School parking lot January 24th, 11-2pm. All donors must be 18 years old or older to donate.

  • The KOTO board of directors will hold their next monthly meeting today at 5pm at the Wilkinson library.  The public is always welcome to attend.

  • The Progressive Women’s Caucus is organizing the third annual Women’s March, Saturday January 19.  Meet at 10:30 am at the Courthouse in Telluride. The PWC will be hosting Twenty (by) Twenty at Sheridan Old Baron Friday night at 7:30. The theme of the march and of Twenty (by) Twenty is "The Era of Women." There will also be a poster-making party for the march in the Library Program Room on Friday Jan 18 from 4-6pm.

  • The Kid’s Cross Country Ski team (only in their 2nd year) is raising money for cross-country ski uniforms (jackets, hats, race tops/bottoms). The kids are looking for sponsors to donate money for as many kilometers they can ski in a three hour time limit. They will ski laps around town park from 10 am until 1 pm. If you would like to donate email nordic@tssc.org and sign up as a sponsor.
