  • Telluride Gold Kings perform at the bean tonight, 6pm.

  • Attention Juniors and Seniors: True North’s Future Center advisors are on hand in Telluride and Norwood to help with completing the FAFSA, searching and applying for college scholarships, editing essays, creating resumes, and applying to career and technical schools. Advisors will be at the Telluride High School Library on Wednesdays from 2-5pm and in Norwood High School from 1-4pm in the Counseling office, as well as by appointment, by calling 970-329-2229.

  • True North’s Academic Tutoring Program takes place every Wednesday from 3:15-4:30 in the Telluride High School Library. Free and open to any high school students, Tutors are available for help in most subjects.

  • The Progressive Women’s Caucus is organizing the third annual Women’s March, Saturday January 19.  Meet at 10:30 am at the Courthouse in Telluride. The PWC will be hosting Twenty (by) Twenty at Sheridan Old Bar on Friday night at 7:30. The theme of the march and of Twenty (by) Twenty is "The Era of Women."

  • There will also be a poster-making party for the march in the Library Program Room on Friday Jan 18 from 4-6pm.

  • Montrose will have it first Women’s March, January 19th. Meet at Demoret Park, 246 E. Main Street. The March will take place 10-11am, participants are encouraged to show up at 9:30am.

  • The Wilkinson Library invites you to view the Super Wolf Blood Moon Eclipse, Sun, Jan 20 at 8:00 pm. Come view this special lunar eclipse through a high-powered telescope with local astronomy enthusiast Ramona Gaylord on the library's upstairs terrace. Appropriate for all ages! Please remember to dress warmly.

  • There will be a Moonlight Progressive Dinner on the Valley Floor, Saturday, Jan. 19th from 5:30-8pm. Please call Cindy at 708-3786.

  • The Norwood Nordic Association will host some fun winter events this weekend. On Saturday January 19th, 6:30 PM, join in a Moonlight ski! Hot cider will be provided. Please BYOM (bring your own mug). Sunday, Jan. 20th at 11am there will be skate skiing clinic.  All levels welcome. This will be followed by a Family friendly Nordic relay at 1pm.  All ages and levels, skate or classic skis welcome. More info at norwoodnordic.com.
