  • Telluride! Here’s your New Years’ Resolution: Get your act together for The KOTO Lip Sync! Friday January 25th, at the Sheridan Opera House. Doors at 8pm, show at 9.   • The Telluride Farmers Market’s Winter Market will be open today from noon-4pm at 335 West Colorado, (the west wing where elections take place). The market will be open on Fridays through January.

  • The Progressive Women’s Caucus is organizing the third annual Women’s March, today.  Meet at 10:30 am at the Courthouse in Telluride.

  • The seventh annual Western Colorado Food and Farm Forum is Jan. 25-26th at the Montrose Pavilion. Farmer Joel Salatin will be the keynote speaker.

  • The Kid’s Cross Country Ski team is raising money for cross-country ski uniforms. The kids are looking for sponsors to donate money for as many kilometers they can ski in a three hour time limit. They will ski laps around town park on Sunday, January 20th, from 10 am until 1 pm. If you would like to donate email nordic@tssc.org and sign up as a sponsor. 

  • The Telluride High School Interact Club Blood Drive will take place Jan. 24th, 11-2pm in the Telluride High School Parking lot. All donors must be 18 years old or older to donate.

  • Cub Scout Pack/ Boy Scout Troop 500 will meet Wednesday, January 23rd, 3:30 p.m. At the Elks Lodge. Contact Janet Kask at 708-1264 for more information.

  • Telluride’s Got Talent is Friday Jan. 25th. Auditions are Tuesday 1/22 and Wednesday 1/23 (must attend one to participate) 3:30 – 6 pm in Ms. Watkins Room (Rm. 106 at Telluride Intermediate School). Open to K-12.   • The Norwood Nordic Association will host some fun winter events this weekend. Today at 6:30 PM, join in a Moonlight ski! Hot cider will be provided. Please BYOM (bring your own mug). Sunday, Jan. 20th at 11am there will be skate skiing clinic.  All levels welcome. This will be followed by a Family friendly Nordic relay at 1pm.  All ages and levels, skate or classic skis welcome. More info at norwoodnordic.com.

  • The Wilkinson Library invites you to view the Super Wolf Blood Moon Eclipse, Sun, Jan 20 at 8:00 pm. Come view this special lunar eclipse through a high-powered telescope with local astronomy enthusiast Ramona Gaylord on the library's upstairs terrace. Appropriate for all ages!

  • Poetica writers will be featured this month as part of the Talking Gourds poetry series. Local poets will perform at the Telluride Arts headquarters Jan. 22nd,  starting at 6 p.m. Theme for this month is Ars Poetica – the name of a poem by the Roman poet Horace and which has come to mean poets writing about the art of poetry.

  • Ouray PARC WinterFest Games will be held at the Rotary Park Ice Rink, today, noon-4pm.
