  • Poetica writers will be featured this month as part of the Talking Gourds poetry series. Local poets will perform at the Telluride Arts headquarters tomorrow, starting at 6 p.m. Theme for this month is Ars Poetica – the name of a poem by the Roman poet Horace and which has come to mean poets writing about the art of poetry.

  • Telluride Film Festival presents a one-time showing of “El Angel.” At the Nugget theater, Thursday, January 24th at 6:15pm. Nugget Passes are not accepted.

  • The Ouray Ice Festival returns for 2019 this Thursday, the 24th through Sunday, the 27th, with comps, clinics and much more. Money raised at the festival benefits the Ouray Ice Park.
