  • The 5th annual Harvest Celebration, hosted by the Lone Cone Legacy Trust, will be tomorrow from 5:30-9pm at the Livery in Norwood. Lone Cone Legacy Trust is fundraising to preserve the legacy of Norwood and re-investing in the community. Come enjoy live music from the Joe Spor band, a silent auction, locally sourced food, and beer and wine. Tickets can be purchased on line at www.loneconelegacy.org or at the door.

  • The Telluride Historical Museum invites you to explore the iconic Lone Tree Cemetery in the ambiance and eeriness of lantern light. Meet at Shed in the middle of the cemetery, 6pm. Please purchase tickets in advance by calling the museum at 970-728-3344, (limited space available). Dress warm and bring a flashlight!

  • In honor of Indigenous peoples Day, the award winning Navajo duo Sihasin (SEE-HAW-SIN) returns to Telluride at the Liberty for an evening of music and more. The show is all ages and starts at 7pm, tomorrow night.

  • The 4th Annual Heritage Harvest Festival will take place tomorrow at the Nucla Town Park, 11am-4pm.

  • The Ridgway Old West Fest will take place this weekend, October 11-13. The festival will highlight Ridgway’s film, ranching, and railroad heritage, and celebrate Western arts & culture. Go to ridgwaycolorado.com for a full schedule of events.

  • The 17TH Annual Ouray County Winter Sports Swap will be held today, 5-8pm and tomorrow, 9am-1pm, at the Ridgway Elementary School. You will be able to purchase your Telluride Ski Resort season passes as well. If you have gear or clothing to sell, you may drop it off at the Ridgway Elementary School between 11:00-4:00 today

  • On Saturday October 12th, there will be a Meet ‘n Greet for School Board candidate Cheryl Carstens Miller at The Phoenix Bean 3-5.

  • The Progressive Women’s Caucus is hosting an election forum Tuesday, October 15th, from 6-8 pm at Rebekah Hall. I twill also be aired live on KOTO. This will be an opportunity to hear about each of the local ballot issues and meet the candidates for Telluride town council.

  • The Hanley Ice Rink opens for the winter season Sunday, October 13th. The schedule is available on the Town of Telluride’s website and on koto.org.

  • The Telluride Farmers Market will begin an hour later today due to the cold weather- 11:30-4pm.

  • There will be a memorial service for Mark Niebruegge on Monday, October 14th, at 3pm at St. Patrick’s Church.
