  • Mark your calendar for KOTO's 44th annual Halloween Bash!! Alan Booradley & The NIA (Neighborhood Improvement Association) are playing at The Liberty on October 31st. Doors are at 8, show at 9.   • It's election time again for the San Miguel Educational Fund Board of Directors. That's KOTO's governing board. There are four seats available. If you'd like to be involved in KOTO's management and direction, submit a statement of interest, not to exceed 150 words, to cara@koto.org by October 25th.

  • Sunday, October 20th, 8 a.m. to Noon, is the 8th Annual Rotary/Interact Club Pancake Breakfast at Clarks! All you can eat!  100% of the proceeds go to the Angel Baskets program

  • The Gondola will close for the season on Sunday, October 20th. It will re-open for the winter season on November 22nd.

  • Attention Bicycle Owners - all tagged bicycles at the Oak Street gondola plaza will be impounded tomorrow. If you have a bike stored around the Oak Street gondola station and it has a red tag on it, it needs to be moved ASAP.

  • Registration is open for the 4 Corners Snow and Avalanche Workshop, October 26th, at the Silverton Public School Gym.   • The Wilkinson Library’s, Authors Uncovered, will host Jack Loeffler, Monday October 21st, in the program room, 6:30-8pm. Loeffler is the author/editor of many books, including Thinking Like a Watershed: Voices from the West, Survival Along the Continental Divide: An Anthology of Interviews, and Adventures with Ed: A Portrait of Abbey.
