  • Attention Juniors and Seniors: True North’s Future Center advisors are on hand in Telluride and Norwood to help with completing the FAFSA, searching and applying for college scholarships, editing essays, creating resumes, and applying to career and technical schools. Advisors will be at the Telluride High School Library on Wednesdays from 2-5pm and in Norwood High School from 1-4pm in the Counseling office, as well as by appointment, by calling 970-329-2229.

  • True North’s Academic Tutoring Program takes place every Wednesday from 3:15-4:30 in the Telluride High School Library. Free and open to any high school students, Tutors are available for help in most subjects.

  • On Sunday Feb 17th, the public is invited to participate in a Snow Moon Hike/Snowshoe Event in Ridgeway. Meet at the Ridgeway State Park Visitors Center at 6:30pm. Snowshoes will be available to borrow. Call 970-626-5822 for more information.

  • Volunteers are needed for the Friends of the Library book sale scheduled for February 15th-17th. Volunteers are especially needed for set up on February 14 and take down on February 17. Volunteers may shop early on the evening of February 14. A sign up form is available at the circulation desk at the library. Volunteers may also call Nancy at 708-4769.   • As part of the Palm’s classic Cinema Series, Fellini’s “Satyricon,” will be screened on Feb. 16th at 7pm.

  • The Sherbino Theater will feature a Valentines-edition of Love, Trust and Betrayal sketch comedy, tomorrow night at 7:30pm.
