  • KOTO’s 2019 Winter Fundraising kicks off this Friday, Feb. 22nd. Join us for BOARD GAMES. Past and present board members of KOTO will take to the airwaves to pass go, collect $200 and deposit into the community chest- KOTO RADIO. That evening KOTO, The Wilkinson Public Library and the Ride Festival will host a free screening of Widespread Panic, The Earth Will Swallow You, 6pm in the program room. Join us as we kick off our Fundraising for 2019!

  • Join Telluride Mountain Club for their latest Backcountry Chat, tonight at 6:15pm at Jagged Edge. They will be hosting a Backcountry Panel Discussion to answer questions and talk about backcountry skiing and decision making. The panel will feature Himay Palmer. Greg Hope, Ryan Howe, Amy Perutz and more.

  • St. Patrick's Church will hold their 10th Annual Benefit Concert with Dennis McNeil on Tuesday, Feb. 19th. Doors at 6pm, concert starts at 7pm.   • The San Juan Rural Philanthropy Days workshop: “Crafting a Strategic Plan that Works,” will take place on Thursday Feb. 21st. At the Sherbino in Ridgeway, 1-4pm. Register at cfg.org/nonprofit-network.

  • Through the month of February, the Wilkinson Library will be hosting a new series, “Tackling Tough Topics” focusing on the opioid crisis. On Feb 19th, they will facilitate a book discussion on, Dopesick. Stop by the library to pick up a free copy to keep! The discussion will be followed by a screening of Heroin(e).

  • Telluride Film Festival presents a one-time screening of the film Arctic, (1h 37min PG-13). Thursday, Feb. 21st at 6:15pm. Nugget Passes are not accepted.

  • Country Western artist Ned Ledoux will perform at the Montrose County Fairgrounds on Saturday February 23.  Tickets available online at montrosecountyeventcenter.com.  Ned is the son of Country Western legend Chris Ledoux. 

  • Registration is open for the 2019 Tellurando Ski Mountaineering Race, Saturday, Feb. 23rd. PRO/OPEN Race starts at 5:30 AM in front of Jagged Edge Mountain Sports.   • Join the Colorado Mountain Club for the 2019 Backcountry Film Festival in Telluride! Thursday, Feb. 21st at the Wilkinson Library, 6pm.

  • Telluride Distilling is hosting the Ski Patrol Surf Stomp at their tasting room in Mountain Village, Tuesday, Feb. 19th, 4:30-6:30pm. Donations to TSP will be accepted as well as a silent auction. Hawaiian shirts, board shorts, bikinis and boat drinks are encouraged to get ready for spring!
