  • The Annual Butch Cassidy Ski Chase and Nordic Fun Day is Saturday, Feb. 9th. Registration will take place at Priest Lake, 9-9:45am. Open to skier of all abilities and ages. Find out more at www.telluridenordic.com.

  • Attention Juniors and Seniors: True North’s Future Center advisors are on hand in Telluride and Norwood to help with completing the FAFSA, searching and applying for college scholarships, editing essays, creating resumes, and applying to career and technical schools. Advisors will be at the Telluride High School Library on Wednesdays from 2-5pm and in Norwood High School from 1-4pm in the Counseling office, as well as by appointment, by calling 970-329-2229.

  • True North’s Academic Tutoring Program takes place every Wednesday from 3:15-4:30 in the Telluride High School Library. Free and open to any high school students, Tutors are available for help in most subjects.

  • Beginning in February, the Wilkinson Library will be launching a new series, “Tackling Tough Topics” focusing on the opioid crisis. They will host a documentary screening of “Recovery Boys,” at 6pm, tonight.

  • The final installment of Telluride TV and the Wilkinson Public Library’s 3-part "Mental Health with Dr. Paul" series is Mon. Feb. 11th. Join clinical and consulting psychotherapist Dr. Paul L. Hokemeyer as he discusses “When The Peak Isn't High Enough: Addiction in Our Box Canyon.” 6pm at the library.

  • The Telluride Choral Society invites you to join them for Springsing 2019, “In the Garden.” Register to participate by emailing Rhonda Muckerman at rlmuckerman@gmail.com.   • KOTO Radio has a new studio at Norwood High School! Tune in every Friday at noon to hear "The Lunch Break," featuring students in Mr. L's class. Also, if you are a West End resident who would like to record a commentary to run after the news on KOTO, email cara@koto.org to set up a time. Office hours are on Thursdays. Record up to 3 minutes about events, fundraisers, nonprofit updates, community happenings, political opinions and more.
