  • The final installment of Telluride TV and the Wilkinson Public Library’s 3-part "Mental Health with Dr. Paul" series is Mon. Feb. 11th. Join clinical and consulting psychotherapist Dr. Paul L. Hokemeyer as he discusses “When The Peak Isn't High Enough: Addiction in Our Box Canyon.” 6pm at the library.

  • Talking Gourds Poetry will have their monthly meeting, Tuesday Feb. 12th, 6pm at the Telluride Arts HQ (across from the library.) The theme for this month will be “first kiss.” To find out more about their 6:30 pm Norwood performance on Monday, Feb 11th, call 970-729-1681.

  • The Telluride Education Foundation and Telluride Mountain School are excited to bring John O’Sullivan to speak on sportsmanship at each level: parents, athletes, and coaches.  Tuesday, Feb. 12th at the Sheridan Opera House. Parent session will be 5:45-6:45pm, Coaches discussion will be 7-8pm.

  • On March 30th, INFOCU5 will host a dual-slalom tournament in partnership with Telluride Ski Resort on Competition Hill from 10 am to 3 pm. All proceeds for the tournament will go to Telluride Ski and Snowboard Club operations and scholarship program.  Visit INFOCU5.com/events to register as a competitor, sponsor a team, or donate to the event.   • Volunteers are needed for the Friends of the Library book sale scheduled for February 15th-17th. Volunteers are especially needed for set up on February 14 and take down on February 17. Volunteers may shop early on the evening of February 14. A sign up form is available at the circulation desk at the library. Volunteers may also call Nancy at 708-4769.   • The KOTO board of directors will hold their next monthly meeting Monday, February 11th, at 5:00pm in the Telluride room of the Wilkinson library.  The public is always welcome to attend.

  • A free legal clinic for parties who have no attorney, will be held at the Wilkinson Library, Wednesday, Feb 13th, 2-5 PM  Please contact the Wilkinson Public Library at 728-4519 to schedule an appointment.
