  • The library will be hosting a workshop on mental health for Spanish speaking parents: 'El Bienestar - Salud Mental Importa' with licensed counselor, Rachael Cooke. Tonight 6-7:30pm.

  • The Telluride Film Festival will host a screening of Chasing Coral (2017), Directed by Jeff Orlowski. Tomorrow, March 19. One show only at 2:15PM at the Palm Theatre. It is free to the public.

  • There will be a Parent and Caregiver Coffee and Conversation/ Café con Conversación, at the Lone Cone Library in Norwood, March 22nd, at 10:30am. Coffee and Conversation is for parents, caregivers, grandparents, friends, and neighbors who have an interest in helping creating a community that supports young children. Learn about available resources, connect with others with a similar experience, and enjoy a cup of coffee!

  • One-to-One Mentoring’s Annual Cardboard Sled Derby will take place Saturday, March 23rd. Kids, ages 5-14, are invited to register and participate! More information can be found at onetoonetelluride.org.

  • The Telluride Education Foundation will present a free screening of “LIKE” as part of their Community Film & Speaker Series. Wednesday, March 27th, 5:45pm @ The Palm. “LIKE” is an original documentary that explores the impact of social media on our lives. Patricia Greenfield will host a Q & A session after the film. There will also be a Parent Roundtable with Greenfield Thursday, March 28th at 8:15am @ TMHS District Conference Room.

  • St. Mary’s Medical Center will be putting on a blood drive at the Telluride Courthouse, Thursday, March 21st. 11am-2pm.

  • Talking Gourds Poetry will host their monthly gathering tomorrow, March 19 at 6:00 pm at the Telluride Arts HQ. This month will feature a performance from Poet Tori Miner of Fruita.  Everyone is welcome!
