  • Original Thinkers will host a screening of Do You Trust the Computer, followed by a conversation with director Chris Paine. At the Nugget Theater on Thursday, April 4th, film starts at 8pm. This event is free and open to the public.

  • Come learn about all of the community resources that are available to your growing family at the Wilkinson Library’s first Community Baby Shower, today, 4:30-6pm. All new and expecting parents and families are welcome to meet with local health and daycare providers as well as take the opportunity to meet other new parents! Have extra baby clothes hanging around? Bring them with you and join in on our baby clothing exchange! RSVP required.   • Friends of the Colorado Avalanche Information Center (CAIC) will host a fundraiser in Telluride tonight, 7-10:00 PM at O’Bannon’s.  Lavalanche, a new local-roots music project, will perform. Tickets are available for pre-purchase through Eventbrite.  Each ticket includes two door prize tickets and one beer ticket.   100% of ticket sales will support avalanche forecasting and education throughout the state of Colorado.

  • Today is the final day to purchase bundles of daffodils, to support the Telluride Historical Museum and the American Cancer Society. Bundles will be available 11am-4pm at Alpine Bank and the Main street community table.

  • Join Susie St. Onge Tuesday, April 2nd, for Mindfulness Meditation. This month’s class will focus on Mindfulness of our thinking. At the Wilkinson Library, 5:30-6:40pm.

  • The Trailblazing Women of Documentary Film series is bringing the movie “Girlhood,” directed by Liz Garbus, to the Wilkinson Library. Monday, April 1st, 6pm.

  • Mountain Village’s Market on the Plaza is accepting 2019 vendor applications. For market dates and an application, head to townofmountainvillage.com/market-vendor. The deadline for applying is April 1st.

  • There will be a Fly-fishing Film Benefit for non-profits, including the Uncompahgre Watershed Partnership. At the Montrose Pavilion, Saturday, March 30th at 7pm. Call 970-325-5100 for more information.
