The Wilkinson Library will host a resume-building workshop for students in preparation for the Annual Summer Teen Jobs Fair. The Workshop will take place Tuesday, April 23rd 3:30-5:30pm. The job fair takes place Friday, April 26th, 3-6pm.
The Town of Telluride is issuing a Spring Flooding Alert. A sudden warm period or heavy rainfall onto the snowpack can cause flooding in town this spring. If you see water backing up and flooding over the banks of the San Miguel River, Cornet Creek or Butcher Creek, Contact the Marshall’s Department at (970) 728-3818 or (970) 249-9110. Today is Earth Day! There are multiple events going on in Telluride to celebrate our beautiful planet!
Join Telluride Earth Guardians, Pinhead Institute, Ah Haa, Carbon Neutral Coalition, EcoAction Partners as they march down Main St. to celebrate. The march will be followed by a party in Elks Park. Meet at Elks Park at 3:30pm.
The Telluride Mountain School is offering a free community wide, multimedia slide show presentation and book signing with nationally renowned, Colorado Landscape Photographer John Fielder on Monday, April 22 from 7:00 - 8:15 p.m. At the Wilkinson Library. There will be a book signing before and after event (6:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m.).
For kids in grades 7-12, the Wilkinson Library will celebrate Earth Day by cleaning up our town! Meet at the library at 3:30 p.m. to pick up equipment, then head out to pick up trash. At 5:30 p.m., report back to the library for free pizza and awards for Best of Trash!

This is part of the Death Café series, aimed at facilitating honest and frank discussions on death. At Christ Presbyterian Church, 5:30pm.
Telluride Green Grant applications are available at telluride-co.gov and at ecoactionpartners.org. Applications are due May 17th. Green Grants provide help for the Telluride community in reducing its greenhouse gas emissions.
