General spring clean-up will be offered May 17th, 10am – 4pm, and May 18th, 9am – 4pm. Household and garden refuse, scrap metal and appliances, tires and more will be accepted. Electronics will be accepted May 17th, 12pm – 4pm and May 18th, 9am – 1pm. Accepting office electronics and other miscellaneous equipment. Household hazardous waste disposal will be accepted May 18th 9am – 1pm ONLY. Paints and solvents, household batteries, motor oil and vehicle fluids, fluorescent bulbs and ballasts, expired medications for pets and humans will be accepted. Fees will apply. Tri-County Health Network will host 2 talks on Suicide Prevention, Aftermath and Healing. Kristina Daniel, LPC, ADS, will be speaking about suicide in our communities, how to help our communities heal and how to recognize the warning signs and help others. She will also provide information and offer a free session of Auricular Acudetox, which has been shown to reduce anxiety, improve sleep, and reduce depressive symptoms.
