  • SMRHA is hosting Lottery Information Discussions. Learn about the Town of Telluride’s Lottery Process. There will be a Spanish Interpreter at Every Meeting. The first meeting is tonight, 5-6pm in the Telluride Room at the WPL.

  • Tri-County Health Network will host 2 talks on Suicide: Prevention, Aftermath and Healing. Kristina Daniel, LPC, ADS, will be speaking about suicide in our communities, how to help our communities heal and how to recognize the warning signs and help others.  She will also provide information and offer a free session of Auricular Acudetox, which has been shown to reduce anxiety, improve sleep, and reduce depressive symptoms.  Join TCH Network and Daniel at the Norwood Community Center, tonight, 6-8:15pm and at the Ah Haa School tomorrow, 11:00am-1:30pm.

  • Please join the Progressive Women’s Caucus tonight at 5:30pm at the Telluride Library’s Program Room for “The Future is Female--An Evening of PWC Plotting and Scheming.” Special Guest Erika Zavaleta (Zah-vah-LET-uh) will discuss: Women, Conversation and Environmental Justice.

  • Palm Arts and the Telluride Film Festival present the Best of the 35th Chicago International Children's Film Festival. Tuesday, May 14th, at 2:15pm at the Palm Theater.

  • Spanish Happy Hour @ Esperanza's is Thursday, May 16th at 5:00 pm. Practice Spanish with Jill and Gloria from the library and other Spanish speakers from the community. All levels are welcome!

  • Telluride Adaptive Sports Program is looking for volunteers for the summer season. As a non-profit, we offer outdoor recreation to individuals living with disabilities.   • The public is invited to a free screening of “Hippie Family Values,” an intimate chronicle of hippie elders and their adult children, filmed over a 10-year period at a communal ranch in New Mexico.  The documentary will be followed by discussion with filmmaker Beverly Seckinger and film participants Dulcie Clarkson Ford, Charris Ford, and Kate Brown. Electronics will be accepted May 17th, 12pm – 4pm and May 18th, 9am – 1pm. Household hazardous waste disposal will be accepted May 18th 9am – 1pm ONLY.
