  • The Gondola is open for the summer season. Please note that there will be NO MOUNTAIN ACCESS FOR SKIING/SNOWBOARDING/BIKING from San Sophia Station and limited mountain access for sightseeing and hiking at this time. Operating hours are 6:30 a.m. to midnight seven days a week. The gondola will run until 2 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays June 21-September 14.

  • Alan Booradley and the NIA perform at Wood Ear today, 9am-noon.

  • Motorcycles, Jeeps, and Classic Cars are all invited to the 3rd annual Ride to Rico! Start where you are and ride with your crew on your own schedule with one destination: Rico. Smoked BBQ and live music start at noon today, May 26th.

  • The Telluride Elks Lodge and American Legion Post 12 will hold Memorial Day Services, Monday, May 27th, 11am at Lone Tree Cemetery. All are welcome!

  • It’s warming up and black bears are awakening. Make sure your polycart complies with the Town of Tellurides requirements. Make sure both latches work, that the lid is intact, there are no cracks in the body and the strap is secure. If your polycart needs stenciling, repair or upgrades, call 970-728-2177. A fed bear is a dead bear.

  • Expectant mothers are invited to meet the Telluride Med Center’s Primary Care Team to discuss prenatal and postpartum care, well-child checks and vaccines, altitude guidelines, and more.
