  • The Trailblazing Women of Documentary Film series at the WPL presents “Step,” directed by Amanda Lipitz. Tonight, May 6th, film at 6pm.

  • CCAASE is now accepting online applications for calendar dates for 2020. Applications can be found on the Town of Telluride’s website and are due by 5pm on May 10th. Call (970) 728-2059 or email jwontrobski@telluride-co.gov with any questions.

  • Telluride Green Grant applications are available at telluride-co.gov and at ecoactionpartners.org. Applications are due May 17th. Green Grants provide help for the Telluride community in reducing its greenhouse gas emissions. 

  • Join Susie St.Onge tomorrow, May 7th at 5:30 pm for Mindfulness Meditation for Everyone: Practicing Resilience. At the WPL.

  • A free legal clinic for parties who have no attorney will take place Wednesday, May 8th, 2:00 to 5:00 pm. By computer link, volunteer attorneys will answer questions, help fill out forms, and explain the process and procedure for all areas of civil litigation, including family law, property law, probate law, collections, appeals, landlord-tenant law, small claims, veterans issues, and civil protection orders. Please call (970) 728-4519 to schedule an appointment.

  • SMPA is scheduling 3 electrical equipment upgrade projects during the first 2 weeks of May. This work requires multiple power outages. The second outage will be May 7th, 8:30am-5:30pm and will effect the south side of Colorado Ave and the north side of Pacific, between Fir and Pine St. The final outage is scheduled for May 8th, 8:30am-12:30pm. This will affect the north side of Colorado between S. Oak and S. Fir St. More information can be found at smpa.com.

  • To prepare for paving Fir St and Pacific Ave and for other construction-related projects, SMPA would like you to take note of these upcoming road closures:Thursday, May 2nd through Friday, May 10th: Fir St will be closed from Colorado Ave. to San Juan Ave. Pacific will be closed from the alley behind The Market and Baked in Telluride to library alley.Sidewalks will remain open. Parking on Fir in front of Baked in Telluride and The Market is slated to reopen in late May before MountainFilm.
