  • The Telluride Balloon Festival continues today and tomorrow. The Annual Main Street GLO will take place this evening, weather permitting.  Colorado Avenue will be closed to traffic, from 6 to 10 p.m. Come out and enjoy all the color!

  • The annual Huck Finn & Becky Thatcher Fishing Derby is this today, June 1st, at the Kids Fishing Pond in Town Park. Wagon rides with Roudy begin at 9:30am, fishing derby begins at 11:00am. Poles will be provided for children ages 9 and under. Hosted by the Telluride Elks Lodge. For more information, call Ken Vann @ 729-1125.

  • SMRHA is hosting Lottery Information Discussions. Learn about the Town of Telluride’s Lottery Process. There will be a Spanish Interpreter at Every Meeting. The next meeting is Monday, May 20th, 5-6pm in the Magazine Room at the WPL.

  • The Society Turn Block Party returns for the summer today, June 1st, from 4-8pm. Music provided by Joint Point! Walk, Hike ,Ride, SUP or Park at the County Lot. NO DOGS Please!

  • The Western Slope Conservation Center's 19th annual River Fest takes place in Paonia, today and tomorrow. Music, Food, beer and cider, and a silent auction with games for kids of all ages will be offered, and of course, fun on the river.   • Tickets are available for purchase for the 27th Annual Ah Haa Art Auction. The Auction takes place July 19th, at the depot. Head to ahhaa.org or call (970) 728-3886 to purchase VIP seated tickets.

  • The Wilkinson Public Library, Between the Covers, and the Sheep Mountain Alliance will host author Heather Hansman, who will be reading from and presenting on her book, Downriver: Into the Future of Water in the West. Monday, June 3rd, at 6pm at the WPL.

  • Palm Arts continues its 2019 Classic Cinema Series celebrating cult film directors. The summer series begins with Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction, Friday, June 7th. Admission is FREE with all donations benefit the Palm Arts Programming fund.

  • The Wilkinson Library will moderate a candidate forum for the Mountain Village Town Council election on June 4th at the Mountain Village Town Hall, (above the Market at Mtn. Village). There will be a mixer at 5:15pm and the forum begins at 6pm.

  • Join the Telluride Historical Museum in celebrating the opening of their newest exhibit, If These Walls Could Talk: Preservation & Change, Thursday, June 6th, 6-8pm. This is a FREE evening at the museum with refreshments. All are welcome. The Museum re-opens for the summer season Friday, June 3rd.

  • Telluride Gold Kings perform tonight at the Phoenix Bean, 6pm.
