  • The alley east of the construction site (By Studio G) will be closed today for gas line work in the alley.

  • Between the Covers Bookstore presents a Happy Hour Meet and Greet with New York Times bestselling novelist Emily Giffin tonight, 5 to 6pm, at the store.

  • The Lawson Hill Community will host a Yard Sale, Saturday, June 15th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.  There are over a dozen households participating in the sale.  Stop by the Lawson bus stop shelter to grab a treasure map of sellers’ houses. 

  • The View Bar & Grill will host an Electric Luau with music by Joint Point. Tonight, 6pm.

  • The Telluride Mountain Village Owners Association will celebrate the kick-off of Mountain Village’s newly expanded Common Consumption Area (CCA) with a party and live music in Heritage Plaza tomorrow from 12-4 p.m. The party will feature live music from Alan Booradley and the NIA.

  • EcoAction Partners is pleased to announce the launch of the 2019 GREENLIGHTS program, an LED light bulb rebate program sponsored by the San Miguel Power Association (SMPA) and local municipalities. The program will run through June 30th. The LED light bulbs will be available at your local Farmers Market. Participating Farmers Markets include: Telluride (Fridays), Mountain Village (Wednesdays), Norwood (Saturdays), Ridgway (Fridays) and Nucla (Thursdays). To purchase the light bulbs you must present your SMPA bill or SmartHub on your phone with an active account number and service address.

  • The Town of Telluride is issuing a Spring Flooding Alert. A sudden warm period or heavy rainfall onto the snowpack can cause flooding in town this spring. If you experience bigger puddles than normal during spring runoff, Contact Public Works at (970) 728-8415. If you see water backing up and flooding over the banks of the San Miguel River, Cornet Creek or Butcher Creek, Contact the Marshall’s Department at (970) 728-3818 or (970) 249-9110. If there is a flood event, shelter in place on a second floor. For latest information, sign-up for CodeRED emergency notifications at sanmiguelcountyco.gov/174/Emergency-Management.

  • Come out and show your #Tellupride at Telluride’s Pride Celebration. Members and allies of the LGBTQ Community are invited to don their best pride attire for a cookout, lawn games, community mural painting and dance party featuring DJ SoulAtomic.  Bring something to throw on the grill, or burgers/veggie burgers will be available.  Alcohol will not be served.  All ages (children must be accompanied by an adult), donations to Telluride Arts will be accepted at door. The festivities take place Sunday, June 16th, 3pm-7pm, at the Transfer Warehouse.

  • Story Time on Tour is coming to the Lawson Hill playground. Join them for stories, singing, dancing, and parachute play! Saturday, June 15 at 10:00 am

  • Music on the Green presents Benyaro, tonight, at the Reflection Plaza, 5-7pm.

  • The Jacob Jolliff Band, with opening support from Alex Paul and the Birds of Play, will perform at the Sheridan Opera House tonight, 9pm.

  • Let the Roar performs tonight at Moon, 10pm.

  • Harper Powell performs tonight at the Phoenix Bean from 6:00 - 8:30 PM

  •  The next SMEF meeting will be Monday, June 24th, in the WPL at 5pm, in the Telluride Room. The public is always welcome!
