  • EcoAction Partners’ 2019 GREENLIGHTS program, an LED light bulb rebate program sponsored by the San Miguel Power Association (SMPA) and local municipalities, will end June 30th. The LED light bulbs are available at your local Farmers Market. Participating Farmers Markets include: Telluride (Fridays), Mountain Village (Wednesdays), Norwood (Saturdays), Ridgway (Fridays) and Nucla (Thursdays). To purchase the light bulbs you must present your SMPA bill or SmartHub on your phone with an active account number and service address.

  • The Annual Buccaneer’s Ball will take place at the Elks Lodge July 6th, 7pm-midnight, with proceeds going to the Telluride Elks Scholarship Fund. Dress like a pirate and enjoy live music from the Telluride Gold Kings, with opener Looty Booty.

  • Join the Telluride Tourism Board at their annual meeting today at the Telluride Conference Center, 3-5pm. Travel/tourism consultants David Radcliffe and Mitch Nichols will present a report card on the Telluride Tourism Board and recommendations for the future. A Q&A will follow with Radcliffe and Nichols, Bill Jensen of Telski, Matt Skinner from Colorado Flights Alliance and Michael Martelon from the Telluride Tourism Board. The Tourism Star Award winners will also be announced.
