  • Palm Arts continues its 2019 Classic Cinema Series celebrating cult film directors. The summer series begins with Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction, tonight, 7pm. Admission is FREE with all donations benefit the Palm Arts Programming fund.

  • Telluride Theater will hold open auditions for their summer production of the Tempest. Auditions will take place at the high school, Saturday June 8, 5pm - 8pm and  Sunday June 9,  5pm - 8pm. Meet in the Palm Lobby. Please be prepared to spend at least 20 min. You will read from selections from the script at auditions. Performance Dates are July 20 – 28.   • Telluride Adaptive Sports Program is pleased to present Operation Encore tomorrow, June 8th. Operation Encore is a collection of highly talented singer/songwriters, who have also served in the U.S. military with tours including Iraq and Afghanistan.   • The Telluride Farmers Market begins its summer season today, 10:30am-4pm. Located on S. Oak St.

  • The Wilkinson’s 5th Annual Patron Appreciation Day is Thursday, June 13th, 12-2pm. Come for a free cook out on the east patio. There will be a photo booth, crafts for the kids, and live music!

  • EcoAction Partners' GREENLIGHTS LED light bulb program, sponsored by SMPA and local municipalities, is back! New to the program: the extremely discounted LED light bulbs are now available at your local Farmers Market. Participating regional Farmers Markets include Telluride, Mountain Village, Ridgway, Norwood, and Nucla. To purchase the light bulbs you must present your SMPA bill or SmartHub on your phone with an active account number and service address.

  • This Sunday, June 9th, the Rico Trails Alliance will be conducting a post-winter clearing, cleaning, and repairs to the Salt Creek Trail. Meet at the Salt Creek Trailhead at 9am. Work will go until 3pm. Please wear LONG PANTS, sturdy hiking or work boots (absolutely no open toed shoes or shorts permitted) and work gloves (if you have them).   • Telluride Public Works Department is issuing a notice of night time construction (7 PM to 7 AM) for asphalt and related work on the Spur from Mahoney Roundabout to Society Turn Roundabout, from the crosswalk at Clarks to the crosswalk at Davis Street, and a couple of small patches along East Columbia Avenue.  This work will take place from SUNDAY NIGHT JUNE 9 through MONDAY MORNING JUNE 17.  Please note that the westbound lane exiting Mahoney Roundabout will be diverted through Butcher Creek from SUNDAY NIGHT 7 PM, JUNE 9 through THURSDAY MORNING 7 AM, JUNE 13.  The Town thanks you for your patience during this necessary infrastructure work.  For more information call Karen Guglielmone 970-729-1015.
