Today, June 9th, the Rico Trails Alliance will be conducting a post-winter clearing, cleaning, and repairs to the Salt Creek Trail. Meet at the Salt Creek Trailhead at 9am. Work will go until 3pm. Please wear LONG PANTS, sturdy hiking or work boots (absolutely no open toed shoes or shorts permitted) and work gloves (if you have them). Training and tools will be provided. Telluride Theater will hold open auditions for their summer production of the Tempest. Auditions will take place at the high school, today, 5pm - 8pm. Meet in the Palm Lobby. Telluride Public Works Department is issuing a notice of night time construction (7 PM to 7 AM) for asphalt and related work on the Spur from Mahoney Roundabout to Society Turn Roundabout, from the crosswalk at Clarks to the crosswalk at Davis Street, and a couple of small patches along East Columbia Avenue. This work will take place from SUNDAY NIGHT JUNE 9 through MONDAY MORNING JUNE 17. Please note that the westbound lane exiting Mahoney Roundabout will be diverted through Butcher Creek from SUNDAY NIGHT 7 PM, JUNE 9 through THURSDAY MORNING 7 AM, JUNE 13.
