Tri-County Health Network will host “Death Café” gatherings aimed at creating a space for community members to share their personal experiences with death and to explore aspects of dying—from practical insights into end of life care

The Telluride Jewish Community invites the public to attend a series of talks from Rabbi Terry Bookman. All sessions will be held at 15 Stonegate Drive, Mountain Village from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm .  The course is FREE.  Please bring a bottle of wine and/or a favorite cheese to share. The summer series of Improve Your Vision meets today at the Wilkinson Public Library. Meet instructor Jolana Vanek, every Friday through September, at 11:15am to 12:15pm. Dropping in, and leaving early is fine.

Own a piece of history! KOTO is auctioning a one-of-a-kind guitar, crafted from a piece of the original Fred Shellman Memorial Stage. The KOTOcaster is a semi hollow body, single pickup electric guitar, made from 30-year-old historic pine. Telluride Mountain Club's annual summer BBQ and membership drive takes place Thursday, July 25th, 5:15 pm – 7:45 pm, in Town Park. Featuring Live Music by TRICO, a raffle & silent auction, food by Fat Alley and BEER! The Sheridan Arts Foundation’s Young People's Theater will host its annual Summer Spectacular July 22-26, for young thespians ages 8-13. The week-long musical theater camp will end with two FREE performance of "Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka" at 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Friday, July 26.

Learn the basics of what you need to get started gardening in the mountains with experts from the CSU Extension office at the Michael Ruterbories Memorial Community Garden, July 27th, 10am-Noon. Come with questions and experienced gardeners will be on hand to answer them and offer consultations on your garden plots. The Michael Ruterbories Garden has 12 plots available to Mountain Village residents and businesses. Saturday, July 20th, please join Sheep Mountain Alliance for a hike up Bear Creek!  Meet under the tent in Town Park at 9:30 am.  Please come for a family-friendly, free, guided hike, that is the second of our Latinx Summer Hike series. Please bring good walking shoes, a raincoat, lunch, water, and sunscreen!

Sheep Mountain Alliance will also hold a Happy Hour for Public Lands, on Monday, July 22nd  from 5:30-7:30 pm at Jagged Edge.  Look at maps and learn about how to engage on local public lands issues like the GMUG National Forest Plan. Pizza and Beer will be provided. 

The KOTO Board of Directors will meet Monday, July 22nd, at 5pm in the Telluride Room at the Wilkinson Library. The public is welcome to attend.
