  • Tonight is the final performance of Telluride Theatre’s Shakespeare In The Park- The Tempest. ON Town Park Stage, 8pm, rain or shine. Tickets are available at telluridetheatre.org

  • Jumping Jack Flash- a tribute to the Rolling Stones, performs at the Sheridan Opera House, tonight, 8pm.

  • Tomorrow, Monday July 29th, join the Telluride Historical Museum for a free family night, featuring interactive stations focused on building and construction to help highlight our newest exhibit, If These Walls Could Talk: Preservation & Change. 5:30pm. The Museum is also excited to announce its 16th annual fundraiser, Feasting on History, taking place on Saturday, August 3rd. Brunch will be hosted by Pete and Shari Mitchell at their home, 112 Single Tree Ridge, Mountain Village. The event will begin at 11:00 a.m. featuring the women of the Mahoney family, who will share family history and stories of the past.  Call the Museum at (970) 728-3344 to reserve your seat.

  • Session two of Rabbi Terry Bookman’s series of talks will take place Tuesday, July 16th. The topic will be From Temple to Synagogue. All sessions will be held at 15 Stonegate Drive, Mountain Village from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm.  The course is FREE.  Please bring a bottle of wine and/or a favorite cheese to share.   • The Town of Mountain Village invites Village Court Apartments (VCA) residents, Mountain Village staff and the Mountain Village community at large to help clean up the grounds of VCA. Thursday, August 1st, 9 a.m.-11 a.m.

  • Ouray County Planning Commission, and the US Forest Service are pleased to bring the Era of Megafires to the Sherbino Theater, Tuesday, July 30th. Doors at 6:30 pm, Movie at 7:00 pm, followed by discussion. This is a free event.

  • Join the Trust for Community Housing, the Downlow and Telluride Theatre for a raucous night of storytelling, a parade, capped off with a dance, featuring the Telluride Gold Kings and DJ Blakk Ceasar, at the Liberty on August 2nd. Meet in Town Park for a Downlow around the theme of “This Must Be The Place,” at 7pm. Join a parade at 8:30pm as it winds its way to the Liberty. Costumes encouraged. This is a free event but all proceeds/donations will go to TCH’s programs like Housing Opportunity Fund, which provides help for locals to secure housing through purchase or rental.

  • The final installment of Rabbi Terry Bookman’s talks, Session Four: Modernity and Post-Modernity, will take place Tuesday, July 30th. All sessions will be held at 15 Stonegate Drive, Mountain Village from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm. The course is FREE. RSVP to tuvyah@eitzah.org.

  • Cash’d Out- a Johnny Cash tribute band- performs at the Liberty tonight, 8pm.

  • On Tuesday July 30th, the public is invited to a Community Open House at the Telluride Fire Station Training Room, (131 W. Columbia). A community discussion about planning opportunities and community needs for town-owned parcels in the Southwest Neighborhood will take place. 6-8pm.  

  • MET at the Palm presents Aida, tomorrow, 6-9:30pm.
