  • Original Thinkers will screen a series of short films with big ideas, tonight, at the Nugget Theater. Films begin at 8pm. There will be a post-screening gathering at Ghost Town, where the public is invited to partake in finger foods, cocktails and conversation. This is a free event. 

  • The Summer Arts Bazaar will take place today at the Transfer Warehouse, 11am-5pm.

  • Ah Haa’s 27th Annual Silent Auction takes place Friday, July 19th, at the depot, with doors opening at 6 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase to the auction. Head to ahhaa.org or call (970) 728-3886 to purchase VIP seated tickets.

  • The Wilkinson Library’s Annual Pie Contest is tomorrow! Drop off your homemade pie, along with the recipe, from 5-6pm on the Library's back patio on the day of the competition. Judging will begin promptly at 6:15pm. Prizes will be awarded for Best in Show, 2nd place, 3rd place, Most Creative and People's Choice at 7pm.

  • The Progressive Women’s Caucus of the San Juan’s thinks you should run for office! Women and non-binary people are invited to join the PWC on July 15th to learn details about regional elected offices, tactics for effective campaigns, and hear from current women leaders about their experiences in office. nterpretation services will be available.   • Own a piece of history! KOTO is auctioning a one-of-a-kind guitar, crafted from a piece of the original Fred Shellman Memorial Stage. The KOTOcaster is a semi hollow body, single pickup electric guitar, made from 30-year-old historic pine.
