  • Southwest Colorado Canyons Alliance invites the public to a sneak peek of Artist in Residence Lanny Wagner's "Capturing the Canyons" tomorrow from 5-8 p.m. at Canyons of the Ancients Visitor Center and Museum, 27501 Hwy 184, Dolores, CO 81323.   • Join the Town of Mountain Village’s Green Team for its annual Community Clean Up Day tomorrow. This year’s Clean Up will be based in Sunset Plaza. Registration is 9:30-10 a.m. to sign up for locations and receive trash bags to fill. Clean Up will take place from 10 a.m. to noon and there will be an after party from noon to 2 p.m. with music, games and food and drinks. There will be a raffle and prizes for best trash finds and trashbags will be provided. Please bring gloves and your re-usable cups and plates.

  • Telluride Ski Resort has begun helicopter flight operations, continuing through mid-September. Operational hours will be Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 6:00pm. Due to the flight path and project scope, certain trails will be closed to keep all trail users safe and out of harm’s way during operational hours. These trails include See Forever, Basin, Prospect Trail and Prospect Loop.

  • There will be a Dinner and Auction Benefit for Jaron, son of Tony and Brianne Bonacquista, at the Nucla Community Center tomorrow, 6-8pm. Jaron tragically lost his hand in accident recently.
