  • The Telluride Historical Museum will be screening Ken Burns' documentary, The Roosevelts: An Intimate History, Episode 5, The Rising Road tonight at the Michael D. Palm Theatre. Ken Burns will be in attendance to introduce the film, entertain a Q&A, and participate in a book and DVD signing after.   • The KOTO board of directors will hold their regular monthly meeting Monday, August 26th, at 5pm, in the Telluride Room at the Wilkinson Library. KOTO members, DJs, and the public are welcome to attend.

  • The San Miguel Housing Authority’s housing lottery for Longwill16 and Silver Jack is open and closes Thursday, August 29th at noon. For guidelines and an application, visit smhra.org/lotteryinfo or stop by the SMRHA Office at 820 Black Bear Rd. #G17. Applications are accepted by appointment only. There will be a Site Walk of Longwill 16 Monday, August 26 @ 12 PM and Wednesday, August 28 @ 5 PM. There will be a site walk of Silver Jack on Wednesday, August 28 @ 5 PM.

  • The Town of Telluride’s Commission for Community Assistance, Arts and Special Events (CCAASE), is accepting applications for 2020 funding. Grant guidelines and applications are available at https://telluride.gosmart.org/. All grant applications are due by midnight, September 23rd. There will be a Mandatory Grant Forum for all new applicants which have not applied in the past two years on Wednesday, September 4, at noon in Rebekah Hall. This meeting is also highly recommended for new grant writers and/or staff, as the application process has changed since the last grant cycle.
