The Town of Telluride’s Commission for Community Assistance, Arts and Special Events (CCAASE), is accepting applications for 2020 funding. Rocky Mountain Natural Gas will begin maintenance repairs on existing 6-inch natural gas pipeline along the portion of the Galloping Goose Trail located on Lawson Hills Open Space Lands between the San Miguel River and the Lawson Hill PUD. Rock mitigation work is scheduled to start September 2 with the pipeline replacement work starting immediately after. Work will be conducted between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. For safety reasons, this portion of the GGT will be closed to general public use until repairs are completed, on or before October 4th.
