  • The Town of Telluride’s Commission for Community Assistance, Arts and Special Events (CCAASE), is accepting applications for 2020 funding. Grant guidelines and applications are available at https://telluride.gosmart.org/. All grant applications are due by midnight, September 23rd. There will be a Mandatory Grant Forum for all new applicants which have not applied in the past two years on Wednesday, September 4, at noon in Rebekah Hall. This meeting is also highly recommended for new grant writers and/or staff, as the application process has changed since the last grant cycle.

  • Rocky Mountain Natural Gas will begin maintenance repairs on existing 6-inch natural gas pipeline along the portion of the Galloping Goose Trail located on Lawson Hills Open Space Lands between the San Miguel River and the Lawson Hill PUD. Rock mitigation work is scheduled to start September 2 with the pipeline replacement work starting immediately after. Work will be conducted between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. For safety reasons, this portion of the GGT will be closed to general public use until repairs are completed, on or before October 4th.
