  • Today is the final Market on the Plaza of the season. In Mountain Village, 11am-4pm.

  • Registration is open for the Mountains to Desert bike ride- an annual fundraiser for the Just for Kids Foundation. The race takes place on September 21st, Telluride to Gateway (100 mile) bike ride with option to start in Norwood (72 miles).   • The San Miguel Housing Authority’s housing lottery for Longwill16 and Silver Jack is now open. It closes tomorrow at noon. For guidelines and an application, visit smrha.org/lotteryinfo or stop by the SMRHA Office at 820 Black Bear Rd. #G17. Applications are accepted by appointment only. There will be a site walk of Longwill 16 today at 5pm. Please meet in the Longwill parking lot. There will be a site walk of Silver Jack today as well, 5pm. Meet in front of the WPL.

  • KOTO’s 3rd Annual Street Dance is Saturday, September 7th, featuring Futurebirds from Athens, GA and Telluride’s own Lavalanche! We need volunteers to make this event a success! Head to koto.org to see available shifts and sign-up! All volunteers will get 2 free drinks!

  • Telluride Ski Resort has begun helicopter flight operations, continuing through mid-September. Operational hours will be Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 6:00pm. Due to the flight path and project scope, certain trails will be closed to keep all trail users safe and out of harm’s way during operational hours. These trails include See Forever, Basin, Prospect Trail and Prospect Loop.

  • Jennifer Groves, Life & Career Coach, invites the public to join her this fall for one of two 5-week workshops on building resilience. All classes held at the Wilkinson Library.
