  • The Telluride Choral Society invites you to join them for Wintersing 2019, “Light of the Season!” Choirs of varying ages will begin to meet September 30th and October 1st.  The Chamber Singers which require audition, starts Wednesday, Oct. 2nd.   • SMART, the San Miguel Authority for Regional Transportation, will be holding community open houses throughout the region in late August and early September to discuss its Strategic Operating Plan project and potential service changes. The sessions will be held on September 3rd in Telluride, September 4th in Norwood, and September 5th in Rico.   • The Town of Telluride’s Commission for Community Assistance, Arts and Special Events (CCAASE), is accepting applications for 2020 funding. Grant guidelines and applications are available at https://telluride.gosmart.org/. All grant applications are due by midnight, September 23rd. There will be a Mandatory Grant Forum for all new applicants which have not applied in the past two years on Wednesday, September 4, at noon in Rebekah Hall. This meeting is also highly recommended for new grant writers and/or staff, as the application process has changed since the last grant cycle.
