  • The Town of Telluride is asking the public to be aware of Monsoonal Flooding of Cornet Creek. Keep an eye on the creek and how it is flowing. Prolonged wet weather and localized heavy rainfall can trigger debris flow and flooding. If there is a flooding event, shelter in place on a second floor if possible.   • KOTO’s 3rd Annual Street Dance is Saturday, September 7th, featuring Futurebirds from Athens, GA and Telluride’s own Lavalanche! We need volunteers to make this event a success! Head to koto.org to see available shifts and sign-up! All volunteers will get 2 free drinks!

  • The Telluride Choral Society invites you to join them for Wintersing 2019, “Light of the Season!” Choirs of varying ages will begin to meet September 30th and October 1st.  The Chamber Singers which require audition, starts Wednesday, Oct. 2nd.   • The Town of Telluride’s Commission for Community Assistance, Arts and Special Events (CCAASE), is accepting applications for 2020 funding. Grant guidelines and applications are available at https://telluride.gosmart.org/. All grant applications are due by midnight, September 23rd. There will be a Mandatory Grant Forum for all new applicants which have not applied in the past two years on Wednesday, September 4, at noon in Rebekah Hall. This meeting is also highly recommended for new grant writers and/or staff, as the application process has changed since the last grant cycle.
