  • Between the Covers Bookstore and Music Maker Relief Foundation present 2 chances to meet southern photographer Timothy Duffy at book signings for Tim's photography book "Blue Muse."  Book signings will take place at the bookstore on Wednesday, September 11th, at 4pm, and at the Music Maker tent at Blues & Brews on Saturday, September 14th, also at 4pm. Blues musician Alabama Slim will be present at the Saturday signing.

  • The Town of Telluride’s Commission for Community Assistance, Arts and Special Events (CCAASE), is accepting applications for 2020 funding. Grant guidelines and applications are available at https://telluride.gosmart.org/. All grant applications are due by midnight, September 23rd.

  • The Wilkinson Library will host Author Josh Aho as he presents "Climbing Colorado's 14ers With Sawyer." Sunday, September 28th. There will be a book signing at 3pm and a presentation 3:30-4:30pm on hiking and climbing, equipment demonstration and nurturing the climbing spirit with your dog.

  • The 10th Annual BRAvo Auction, benefitting the San Miguel Resource Center and Bosom Buddies, is Thursday October 10th 7:30 pm at the Sheridan Bar. Stop by the Ah Haa School to pick up a bra to decorate. Deadline for bra submission is October 2nd.

  • Telluride Dance Collective’s Mass Movement Show takes place at the Palm Theater Wednesday, September 18th, and Thursday September 19th, 7:30pm. To buy tickets, head to telluridepalm.com.

  • Be sure to stop in and browse the Rock and Roll Photo Party at the Last Dollar Saloon, Saturday September 14th. Photographer, G.   • Join the Buffalo Field Campaign at the Wilkinson Library tomorrow, September 11th,6pm, for a night of activism with music, storytelling and videos. The Buffalo Filed Campaign have spent 22 years raising awareness of the plight of the wild buffalo. Find out more at buffalofieldcampaign.org.

  • The Telluride Mountain Club’s Summer Sessions: Intro to Mountain Running takes place tomorrow, 5:30pm in Town Park. Join us to learn what mountain running is all about and how it differs from road and trail running. 5:30 – 6:00 pm covering the basics, quick Q&A, then head to Bear Creek Trail for an uphill and downhill running technique overview.
