Talking Gourds Poetry Club will meet Tuesday, September 17th at 6:00 pm @ Telluride Arts HQ. The first autumn Poetry Club features Mary Oishi. Oishi is a Japanese American poet and public radio professional who was raised by the KKK. Her poems have appeared in numerous anthologies, poetry journals, newspapers, and digital publications. Everyone is welcome!
September is Suicide Prevention Month. The Wilkinson Library will host a free screening of The S Word, a documentary about suicide and the silence that surrounds it, Monday, September 23rd, 6pm.
