Rise Up for Rasta Stevie. Rasta Stevie has been on a yearlong battle with cancer and is asking the Telluride community for support. On Friday, September 27th there will be a silent auction and raffle at the Sheridan Opera House, 6-7pm, followed by music from Dandylion, Sean Deland, Koral Delatierra of Niceness and many more, till’ midnight. Tri-County Health Network is proud to bring back the Skippy cavity prevention program to our schools this year. Skippy is a mobile, evidenced based oral health program offered at no cost each school year. Students receive a dental exam, cleaning, x-rays, fluoride treatment, protective sealants, and interim therapeutic restorations. Upcoming Skippy clinic dates are as follow: Naturita Elementary School on Monday, September 23rd, Tuesday, September 24th and Wednesday, September 25th; Nucla Middle and High School Wednesday, October 2nd and Thursday, October 3rd.
