  • Tonight is Art Walk! Participating galleries and venues will remain open later to exhibit new works, 5-8pm.   

  • KOTO’s Fall Fundraising ends this Friday, September 6th! We will be hosting a vinyl sale in our driveway, with everything priced to sell! Stop by the purple house on pine. We’ll have the grill going, beers chilling and tunes spinning. 10am-5pm.

  • KOTO’s 3rd Annual Street Dance is Saturday, September 7th, featuring Futurebirds from Athens, GA and Telluride’s own Lavalanche! We need volunteers to make this event a success! Head to koto.org to see available shifts and sign-up! All volunteers will get 2 free drinks!

  • Music on the Green presents Ruby at the Reflection Plaza, tomorrow, 5-7pm.

  • There will be a Yard Sale this Saturday, 8am-4:20pm, at Erney Brier’s home Down Valley- 268 Trunk Rd. (on Hwy. 145 btw. mm81 and mm82- there will be signs and balloons). All proceeds from the sale will be donated to Angel Baskets.

  • CSU Extension classes are offering Summer/Fall Food Preservation classes tonight at the Norwood Library, 6-9pm. They are also offering a class/field day on Native Fruit and Nuts. September 9th and 10th. Register for either by calling 970.327.4393

  • Registration is now open for "Presentation & Performance," a 2-day intensive with writer Craig Childs and actor and theater teacher Colin Sullivan at Million Miles Away Writing Workshops & Retreats in Norwood on September 28th and 29th.   • The Telluride Historical Museum and the Lone Tree Cemetery will co-host Remembrance Day, this Friday at the cemetery, 4-6pm. Local historians will be on-hand to tell the stories of the people who are laid to rest there. Donations will be accepted at the Colorado Ave entrance or the east gate at Columbia Ave.  

  • Rocky Mountain Natural Gas is doing maintenance repairs on existing natural gas pipeline along the portion of the Galloping Goose Trail located on Lawson Hills Open Space Lands between the San Miguel River and the Lawson Hill PUD. Work will be conducted between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. For safety reasons, this portion of the GGT will be closed to general public use until repairs are completed, on or before October 4th.   • Registration is open for the Mountains to Desert bike ride- an annual fundraiser for the Just for Kids Foundation. The race takes place on September 21st, Telluride to Gateway (100 mile) bike ride with option to start in Norwood (72 miles).
