The Telluride Historical Museum and the Lone Tree Cemetery will co-host Remembrance Day, this Friday at the cemetery, 4-6pm. Local historians will be on-hand to tell the stories of the people who are laid to rest there. Donations will be accepted at the Colorado Ave entrance or the east gate at Columbia Ave.
Rocky Mountain Natural Gas is doing maintenance repairs on existing natural gas pipeline along the portion of the Galloping Goose Trail located on Lawson Hills Open Space Lands between the San Miguel River and the Lawson Hill PUD. Work will be conducted between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. For safety reasons, this portion of the GGT will be closed to general public use until repairs are completed, on or before October 4th.
