  • The Imogene Pass Run takes place tomorrow. The road will be closed for the race.

  • Dwayne Dopsie and the Zydeco Hellraisers perform tomorrow night at the Sheridan Opera House. 9pm.

  • Join Telluride High School students for their Play in 48hrs performance of “The Redemption of Gertie Greene.” At the Palm Theater, Sunday September 8th. 5pm.

  • KOTO’s Fall Fundraising ends today! Thank you to everyone that donated! We will be hosting a vinyl sale in our driveway today, with everything priced to sell! Stop by the purple house on pine. We’ll have the grill going, beers chilling and tunes spinning. 10am-5pm.

  • KOTO’s 3rd Annual Street Dance is tomorrow! Featuring Futurebirds from Athens, GA and Telluride’s own Lavalanche! All Imogene Pass Run participants are entitled to a free beer with their race bib. 4-8pm. We need volunteers to make this event a success! Head to koto.org to see available shifts and sign-up! All volunteers will get 2 free drinks!

  • The Telluride Historical Museum and the Lone Tree Cemetery will co-host Remembrance Day, today at the cemetery, 4-6pm. Local historians will be on-hand to tell the stories of the people who are laid to rest there. Donations will be accepted at the Colorado Ave entrance or the east gate at Columbia Ave.  

  • CSU Extension classes are offering a class/field day on Native Fruit and Nuts. September 9th and 10th. Register by calling 970.327.4393

  • Strong Start, Strong Community invites the public to join them for a community discussion on the challenges of infant care. Monday, September 9th, 6pm-8pm at the Ah Haa School.   • There will be a Yard Sale this Saturday, 8am-4:20pm, at Erney Brier’s home Down Valley- 268 Trunk Rd. (on Hwy. 145 btw. mm81 and mm82- there will be signs and balloons). All proceeds from the sale will be donated to Angel Baskets.

  • Join the Buffalo Field Campaign at the Wilkinson Library on Wednesday, September 11th,6pm, for a night of activism with music, storytelling and videos. The Buffalo Filed Campaign have spent 22 years raising awareness of the plight of the wild buffalo. Find out more at buffalofieldcampaign.org.
