This afternoon, Wednesday, May 22nd, come down to KOTO and check out Live @ the Drive, a FREE community concert in front of the Purple House on Pine! Live music from the Grass Blasters from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Can’t make it in person? Tune in to KOTO from 4-5 and get your grass blasted!!

SMART (San Miguel Authority for Regional Transportation) will be returning to the regular bus schedule starting Thursday, May 23rd when the Gondola opens. Down Valley, Rico, Norwood and Nucla/Naturita routes will remain the same. The Lawson Hill and Lawson Hill/Mountain Village schedules will be available on the SMART website at SMARTTelluride.com.

Tomorrow, Thursday, May 23rd, head to Wilkinson Public Library at 5:30 p.m. for an Author Talk with Melissa Sevigny, author most recently of Brave the Wild River, the untold story of two women who mapped the botany of the Grand Canyon. Through the vibrant letters and diaries of the two women, Sevigny traces their forty-three-day journey, during which they ran rapids, chased a runaway boat, and turned their harshest critic into an ally. The Public Defender film crew has organized a Book Drive for gently used recent books for kids, adults, and in Spanish language, in support of Colorado's State Library serving Colorado departments of correction, mental health and veteran's centers. Drop-off sites during Mountainfilm weekend will be at the Wilkinson Public Library, Between the Covers Bookstore, and Mountainfilm Hospitality, beginning Friday, May 24th.

Sundog is an experimental, effects-laden psychedelic band made up of THS students Holden Coppage, Jerry Sharpe, Phillip Brooks, and Kerry Hauze. They’re playing a FREE show at Town Park Pavilion on Friday, May 24th, starting at 4 p.m.

Friday, May 24th, is the special Art Walk: Mountainfilm Edition from 4 – 7 p.m. at participating galleries & venues in Telluride. Disco Swell Custom Hats will be at Society presenting the grand opening of The Disco, a custom hat bar & art gallery pop-up featuring art collaborations from mixed-media artist Brooke Einbender (Mindbender Art) and photographer Alex Ferrari.

Disco Swell is also teaming up with The Alibi on Friday, May 24th, for a live DJ set by Koko Love, spinning funk & house beats. The party starts at 9 p.m. Tickets available at the door and at alibitelluride.com.

PlanetV is a three-day camping experience taking place Friday, May 24th through Sunday, May 26th, featuring a journey through music, workshops, art and authentic connections. The three-day camp out features the Pariah Mutant Vehicle as your spaceship while music and fire performances guide your journey. This year will feature all female headliners and friends.
