With the Gondola now open, SMART (San Miguel Authority for Regional Transportation) will be returning to the regular bus schedule. Down Valley, Rico, Norwood and Nucla/Naturita routes will remain the same. The Lawson Hill and Lawson Hill/Mountain Village schedules will be available on the SMART website at SMARTTelluride.com.

The Public Defender film crew has organized a Book Drive for gently used recent books for kids, adults, and in Spanish language, in support of Colorado's State Library serving Colorado departments of correction, mental health and veteran's centers. Drop-off sites during Mountainfilm weekend will be at the Wilkinson Public Library, Between the Covers Bookstore, and Mountainfilm Hospitality.

Monday, May 27th, kick off the summer season with The Downlow – FREE live community storytelling – at the historic Sheridan Opera House! This edition of The Downlow will explore the theme “Rites of Passage.” Doors at 6:30 p.m.; show at 7 p.m.

KOTO News is hosting a candidate forum between San Miguel County Commissioner candidates Anne Brown and Geneva Shaunette, running for the Democratic nomination for District 1. Meet the candidates & ask questions, live at Telluride Arts HQ on Tuesday, May 28th at 6 p.m.; doors at 5:30 p.m. Can't make it in person? Tune in on your FM dial or at koto.org.

The Telluride High School Senior Parade takes place Wednesday, May 29th at 3:30 p.m. down Main Street in Telluride. Come out and cheer on the graduates!

Thursday, May 30th, join Sheep Mountain Alliance, EcoAction Partners, and Wilkinson Public Library for Coffee and Climate Conversation at 8:30 a.m. in the library Program Room. Find out what it looks like to make real change happen in our community, region, and beyond. All ages are welcome, and coffee, tea, and homemade baked goods are kindly provided.

County Commissioner Anne Brown invites younger community members to a conversation about building a future in San Miguel County. Enjoy a free drink and Brown Dog pizza, while sharing your questions, ideas, hopes and dreams. Gather at the Last Dollar rooftop on Thursday May 30th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Friday, May 31st, join Wilkinson Public Library's Summer Kick Off Celebration for Kindergarten through 6th grade students. Come for a pizza lunch at 12:30 pm in the Youth Area and stay for the amazing magic show with Cody Landstrom at 1:30 pm in the Program Room. More information is available at telluridelibrary.org.

Friday, May 31st, the Telluride Air Force and USHPA present the 1st annual Telluride Free Flight Film Festival!
